At Little Acorn Services (LAS) we offer an outreach service for those young people who may live independently but still need that extra support with their transition to independence. We provide a high quality, tailor made outreach service that is flexible, empowering and needs based.

LAS’ work with young people is underpinned by the five outcomes of Every Child Matters. We work closely with Local Authorities, family members and other professionals so that the young people receive a holistic, consistent service that is focused on achieving and sustaining outcomes.

Our outreach staff focus on sustainable community living support such as, claiming welfare benefits, engaging in education, employment or training, managing finances, developing a support network and accessing community services.

Each social worker/personal adviser will be sent a monthly report and chronology that outlines the young person’s progress and areas of future development. Our staff team are trained to produce high quality, comprehensive and detailed reports that reflect the service we provide to support young people in achieving and sustaining positive outcomes.
